Objective: Create a publication for an audience of your choosing that incorporates motion design.
Concept: This publication was created to promote The Electrical Life of Louis Wain, an Amazon Prime Video original movie. Focusing on the chronology of his life and his artistic style, the publication showcases how his mental state correlated to his art. When Louis Wain was at his lowest, his artistic work was at its most vibrant and playful, which presented an interesting parallel. Deliverables for this project included a 44 page publication as well as four animation elements within the work.

The final publication came out to be 44 pages, printed on Neenah Classic Crest paper trimmed and stitched by hand with vibrant pink thread.

The publication has four animated spreads and each one is noted by the Artivive logo. The animations act as a way to enhance the content of the publication, by showing more examples of Louis Wain’s artwork and playing the trailer and a clip from the film.
